Symptoms may include:
Recurrent, intrusive, distressing memories
Difficulty sleeping (nightmares)
Feelings of helplessness
Strained personal relationships
Exaggerated startle response syndrome
Irritability/outbursts of anger
Difficulty concentrating
Hyper-vigilance
Feelings of detachment and isolation
Inability to see the following for self; career, marriage/children or normal lifespan
